The Student Ministry of Kirby Woods Baptist Church exists to help students
Connect to Christ
, Connect to Church, and Connect to Community.

The first objective of the Kirby Woods youth group is to Connect Students to Christ. Romans 11:36 says, "For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen." The student ministry exists to guide students to a relationship with Christ. The desire is that all students would see the redemptive work of Christ, and then dedicate their lives to serve him. This is done through Sunday School, Discipleship Groups, Bible Drill, D-Now, and Youth Camp.

The second objective is to Connect Students to the Church. In John 17:23 Jesus prays for unity in the church body, "I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me." The youth group wants to connect students to the church body in unity and love, so that the world would believe in Jesus. This is done through D-Now, Discipleship Groups, Service Projects, and Youth Camp.

The third objective is to Connect Students to their Community for the sake of God's glory. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus says, "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." The student ministry tries to fulfill this objective by providing students with the opportunity to serve and share the Gospel in their community. This is done through serving at Hollywood, Puppets, and D-Now.
